Sent on a one-week trip for validation training. First time driving in Europe... soooo.... heh, got lost! :P Thats what happens when you try to move around without a map. Road signs have a high propensity to contradict and confuse.

Been hearing that this is one of the largest cities in the region.. but turned out to be a little university town where everything surrounds the huge fountain.

We ended up here walking down the old port (Vieux Port) of Marseille after a quiet day in Aix. Visited Notre Dame de la Majere, where the winds were blowing shards of glass across the roads!

Rushed to the steepest cliff in the region right after work. Pity all I could see was a quick glimpse of the cliff bathing in the evening sun, as the sun quickly set before we reached the port.

Woke up at 4am, rushed to airport to catch the early plane, just to find out the car rental office wasn't open!! Had several hours to snooze in the car, take pictures of a humming bird hawk moth at Marignane Airport, and went off to a half-day trip to Paris city. :)

This is it.. start of another long imprisonment in a faraway land. As its my second time here, we didn't get too lost til we reached Marseille when looking for the hotel. Another standard lunch at QUICK, where we flashed our G+ pass to get a free burger. They must be thinking.. "Cheapo chinois..."

Gemenos is known for Gemplus. There're mountains, mountains, Gemplus, mountains, and some mountains. The vicinity of the office is as populous and bustling as Tuas.. Here are photos of our lives in the office and the area around it. Get to know where we get our steak frites from :P

I stayed at Citadines Prado Chanot. Moved from level 2 to level 5 after successfully convincing our boss that the room was really not meant for 4 individual adults.. Anyway, here are pictures of my room, and some morning sunrise shots.

Our first weekend trip to breathe in the nature of Cassis. Navigated through the rocky beaches, tried not to notice the topless sunbathers (its rude to stare!) and prayed we could find our way back after sunset.

Back from Cassis, and in for a short walk down the Vieux Port under the evening sun. Did I mention some Egyptian students tried to get to know the girls when we had our dinner?
